Don Hill of Southdale Bible Chapel is one of the founders of CCNL (Christian Churches Network of London) and a past Chancellor of CCNL.

Don turned 90 on July 17th and if you ask him if he has lived all of his life in London, he will reply, "Not yet."

Maybe that is because God still has things for him to do. Don has been the leader of an Interdenominational Men's Bible Study Fellowship for over 45 years meeting on Wednesday mornings.

The group started in downtown London meeting at various locations such as the YMCA, assorted business locations and the Ridout Tavern before moving to the Youth for Christ building on Adelaide Street South and then because of Covid19 moving to Village Green Community Church at the corner of Wonderland South and Village Green Ave.

Recently this group invited some of the group's old-timers and some men from Don's church to a 90th Men's Breakfast Birthday Celebration. Over 50 men attended and spoke of Don's faithfulness to the Lord and his influence in their lives.

Almost $1,000 was raised in honour of Don and donated to the CCNL. The group continues to meet each Wednesday at 8 am and would welcome newcomers.

Anyone can donate to CCNL in honour of Don Hill by using e transfer to info@ccnl.org or by a cheque in mail to CCNL, 218 Clarke Rd. London N5W 5E4.
