The Courage For Freedom Team is hard at work preparing new bedding, clothes, and meals for deserving girls exiting after being victimized by human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Each girl: unique, valued, and treated with dignity as an individual.

What is going on at the House? Courage For Freedom...
  • is repairing flood and water damage in one of the rooms
  • has built a new entry stoop and installed safety lighting
  • have worked on transition plans, social supports and education support and applications for post secondary fall courses as independent skills

The Courage For Freedom Team have provided Courage House guests drives and support to court and trials resulting in positive outcomes, convictions and sentencing of criminals

The Team has offered unlimited survivor support in horses that heal trauma sessions and peer mentor programs.

There is always more to be done, but The Courage For Freedom Team needed to take some time to remind one another that they all look to the place they call home, feel safe and work on themselves.

Survivors are no different.

They need your financial contributions and our expertise.

Did you know that Courage For Freedom is not grant or government funded for all the direct support work they offer survivors?

Right now, Courage For Freedom is busy working in direct and community services. There is no time in their schedules to fundraise as part of their jobs. They are fortunate that their pool of skilled professionals including their Founder, Board, Volunteers and community partners dedicate their time volunteering and working tirelessly.

URGENT AND VITAL BILLS are met with yours and others generosity.

Here is where you come in: There are some pressing and urgent needs in the house, for girls, in office and to keep our horse trauma experts well and available.   Insurance, home repairs, car maintenance, and bills for hydro and water too.  Basics to run the organization that Courage For Freedom just cannot live without.

Here are what girls say about your supports at Courage For Freedom.

"When no one else was there, they kept caring and calling until I found my way out." (Age 17)

"Lots of promises to help led down a dark path. I was pregnant and no one would take me in. Your survivor peer took me to a safe place and a horse pulled me out of depression into sobriety." (Age 19)

"Nothing like fresh new bedsheets, bras, underwear that no one else has worn. I never knew I was so exhausted until I let them help me." (Age 18)

Would you give to help make a way to hope and a future for a deserving girl?

Courage For Freedom urgently requests your best gift.
