In 2018, WayBase was launched with a vision to enable Christian ministries and individuals to work together more effectively to improve people’s lives, communities, and the world.

heir focus is to create an “impact network.” They do this by offering easy-to-use, data-powered digital tools, highlighting causes in local communities, supporting local events where leaders can collaborate together, measuring impact, and providing analytical insights.

Their team is made up of leaders and industry professionals with diverse backgrounds and significant experience in the Church, technology, and data science.

WayBase has just released two mini report on the changes to the Christian population in Canada based on the latest census Canada data.

The first: Christianity in Canada 2011-2021 2021 Canadian Census | Religious Diversity with the starting statistic: 53% is the total percentage of Canadians who identify as Christian, down 14% from 2011. And just 37% of Canadians aged 25-34 identify themselves as Christian, down 20% from 2011, representing the lowest percentage ever.

The second mini report offers a more detailed look at the people, denominations, and traditions that make up the Canadian Christian demographic. This survey show that 20% of those who identify as Christians are immigrants, up from 17% in 2011 and 30% of those who identify as Christian live in rural areas, these areas account for 27% of the broader population
