Three events happening this fall in Alberta, Nova Scotia and Ontario

Recognizing the burden of recovering from pandemic restrictions, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association of Canada is offering evangelism summits for church leaders—and anyone else interested in evangelism—to refocus and refresh their passion for proclaiming the Gospel.

“The summit is a call for Christians to refocus on the things that are truly important,” explained Dion Collins, BGEA of Canada’s director of ministry. “COVID has pulled church leaders in many directions and we want to help them see that evangelism is very important. Our goal is to reignite their passion for the lost.”

Summit schedule:
  • Calgary: Oct. 13, Rockpointe Church
  • Halifax: Oct. 18, Halifax Convention Centre
  • Toronto: Oct. 20, Church on the Queensway

Registration starts at 8 a.m. with plenary sessions beginning promptly at 10 a.m. and lasting until 5:30 p.m. Lunch and materials are provided free of charge.

Speakers include Billy Graham Evangelistic Association Vice President Will Graham (in Calgary and Halifax), Dr. Charles Price, pastor-at-large for the People’s Church in Toronto, U.K. author, speaker and theologian Amy Orr-Ewing (in Halifax and Toronto), and Canadian evangelist David MacFarlane.

“I want to give the summit attendees hope that the Gospel hasn’t lost its power,” said David MacFarlane. “We have more depression and suicides than ever. People are looking for hope and we need to show them how relevant Christianity is.”

There is no admission charge for the summits, but pre-registration is required. Please visit BillyGraham.ca/evangelism-summit to register and for more information.
