Old Fashioned Christmas Bazaar and Silent Auction, Saturday, Dec. 7 – Between 12.00 and 3.00 pm. The ladies of St. Luke’s (Broughdale) ACW, located at 1204 Richmond St. N at Bernard are again offering an assortment of items for purchase. For example, jewellery, treasure table, books, preserves, bake table, marmalade and Christmas baking, plus frozen chili to go. We will also have an assortment of Quilting for your perusal. Need a break? Visit our Tea Room. Enter off Bernard Ave. Parking on Mayfair, Bernard and Raymond. Free admission. We are wheel chair accessible.

The show:
When a tornado rips through Kansas, Dorothy and her dog, Toto, are whisked away to the magical Land of Oz They follow the Yellow Brick Road toward the Emerald City to meet the Wizard, and on route they meet a Scarecrow that needs a brain, a Tin Man missing a heart, and a Cowardly Lion who wants courage. This classic tale, in which a Kansas farm girl travels over the rainbow to discover the magical power of home, has been entertaining audiences for generations.
