The purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through the 8 Recovery Principles and the Christ-centered 12 Steps. This experience allows us to be changed. We open the door to change by sharing our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another. By working and applying these biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our hurts of the past and gain freedom from our addictive and dysfunctional behaviours. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and, most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others.

Celebrate Recovery is a safe meeting space for anyone experiencing addictions, codependency, and/or grief and loss. Anonymity and confidentiality are basic requirements. What is shared in the group stays in the group. We are here to support one another, not “fix” one another. We are not licensed counsellors, psychologists or therapists; recovery groups are not designed for this. It is up to the participant to include outside counselling to their program if they feel it is necessary. Participants find it is a great group to share our hurts and victories with one another. There is healing in our sharing.

The Euthanasia Prevention Coalition (EPC) is an international network of groups and individuals who oppose euthanasia (the deliberate killing of someone by action or omission, with or without that person’s consent, for what are claimed to be compassionate reasons) and assisted suicide (counselling, abetting, or an act of aiding someone to kill him or herself), supporting positive measures to improve quality of life. We are entirely not-for-profit.

EPC exists to protect people from euthanasia and assisted suicide and resist the cultural acceptance of these practices. We do this via a multi-dimensional strategy using film, printed resources, the web, social media, advocacy, etc.

We also promote the Compassionate Community Care (CCC) helpline, a service providing advice, help and support regarding euthanasia and assisted suicide prevention and all end-of-life treatment issues. The toll-free number for CCC is 1-855-675-8749.

All members of the Coalition share the responsibility of educating the public and advocating for the vulnerable.

We encourage each concerned individual to step out in their community: to educate themselves, know their rights as a patient, foster meaningful relationships and support good palliative care and hospice services.

The goal in creating each of our documentaries is to increase awareness of the issues surrounding the practice of euthanasia and assisted suicide around the world. The Euthanasia Deception was released in September 2016, Fatal Flaws: Legalizing Assisted Death in May of 2018.

Marshall’s Pasta and Bakery is a family-owned restaurant/ catering/ retail store of homemade Italian food. Operated and owned by Blake and Jodie Marshall and their 4 young daughters.

After playing pro-football for eight years in Edmonton, injuries forced Blake to seek a second career. Blake’s love of Italian food and cooking inspired him to open Marshall's Pasta and Bakery, after Blake & Jodie studied the business of "pasta". They created a business plan and chose London for their location because Blake attended the University of Western and loved the city and the people.

The store offers fresh pasta, sauces, Portuguese breads, prepared meals, lasagna, soups and Blake credits brother Greg, the Mustangs head coach, with coming up with the recipe for the store's meatballs! In the summer, you will find Blake barbecueing Pino Italian sausages, outside on the patio.

The business expanded into catering - meals for large or small groups ranging from the Mustangs to intern doctors to events large and small. The wholesale deliveries of bread to local restaurants also keeps the Marshall's busy. The Marshall's ventured into preparing meals for hot lunch programs at elementary schools and now provide a dozen schools with fresh, hot pasta lunches.

Though the couple has enjoyed business success, Jodie said serving good food to customers has been the real motivation. She recalls one customer, in particular, who moved her to tears. "She said, 'Buying food from Marshall's makes me feel like a good mom".

Oegema Turkey Farms is a third-generation family farm, started in 1958. Successive generations have contributed years of experience, and education in business and agriculture to develop the operation. Presently Oegema Turkey Farms grows approximately 55,000 turkeys per year. It is their commitment to raise the best bird possible and that requires many hours in the barns caring for their flocks.

In 1992, the family started The Turkey Shoppe, offering turkey products to consumers direct from the farm. Originally there was just one employee and the store was open three days a week. Over the years the business and product line has grown to the point where they are now open six days a week with 6 full and part time employees.

In 2006 Oegema Turkey Farms installed a wind generator to provide green energy for the farm. It is a refurbished unit from the Netherlands and can produce up to 80kW/hr on a windy day. On average, it supplies 25% of the farm’s electricity.
